New Girls Selected through Survey Visit in Feb 2013

Introduction:

Education is one of the major instruments of social change and it is the force, which brings changes in the traditional out look of the people, and it develops insight for judging things in their context. It is visualized that more the percentage of educated people more will be the rate of development.

Conflict-affected countries have some of the world’s worst education indicators, and girls are left furthest behind. Poverty effects interact with security fears over sexual violence and attacks by groups opposed to gender equity in education to keep girls out of school.

Purpose / Objective: capacity building, awareness and selecion of the new girls for the Girl Effect Fund project

At these we talk with girls about their education. Most of the people in the area are illiterate & are involved in the profession of labor or female are mostly the working as maid.

Problem Identified:

Most of the girls and women in the area are illiterate & female are mostly working as maid.

Major problems are found due to lack of education , that include lack of awareness about health, food items ,Health &  hygiene backward living standard and awareness regarding human rights.

Action Plan for Girl Empowerment:

The poor people of the village cannot afford the basic needs of children that’s  why we provided providing them books, copies , stationary and uniform is also essential which will inactivate the children to go  to school.

After the school built, some extra curriculum activities for children can be were influential
