ROSI FOUNDATION is supporting restituted widows on skill training, sewing machine, rights and other welfare activities for widow women. It reduces poverty, sex abuse, isolation of community and working place issues and risk of children education break.

In this three months, 20 widow women are under on Garments making on cutting, stitching, embroidering, cloth fabrication and marketing. Another batch is starting training for six months duration. 5 widow’s women have got sewing machines and accessories. They are involving in the business and earning. Daily they are earning $4 by the business and will increase to $5 in the next months. So they will earn $5/day. The amount is sufficient to survive and other needs.

Spotlight :Ms.Kavitha’s life and children care were questionable after divorce. She was under sex torture, abuse and caste discrimination in the working place. In this condition, she requested ROSI FOUNDATION for supporting.  In your fund, we gave training and free sewing machine. Now she is earning $3.5 and free of working place violence. She is running her family without hunger. She is as confidence that she can earn more in future by the business.

Project Name : EDUCATIONAL HELPS TO WIDOW’S CHILD FROM DROPOUT ROSI FOUNDATION is running for widow children in Pudukkottai district, Dindigul district, Thiruvarur district and Nagapattinam district in Tamil Nadu state, India. Children of widows are facing more issues in economical and sex matters. Further working place violence is major issues among them. So children education and living are risk condition.

 

Ten widowed women have been motivated through training and are affected by sex and economical exploitation due to the husband's death. The training empowered them on the children education, Importance of education, Health and hygienic of children, saving children from abuses, health and future life of children, etc

Spot light of a child : Mr.Dharma (13) is studying 8th std and his mother is destitute women and very poor. She was struggling for running the family after her husband divorce. So the studies of the child are very difficult. So his education was broken and he has become childlabour and engaged in Bricks kiln. In the condition, she met and requested us to provide educational material support.

ROSI FOUNDATION has supported him on his educational materials requirements such note book, uniform, school bag, etc. Now he is studying 8nd std in GHS School, Pudukkottai without the risk of drop out and breaking of education. In your support, the child education is protected and continued for further studies. He is studying well and his mother is also encouraging him.  The family is thanking to Donors.

Your help will protect him with another 10 children from the risk of studies and dropout. We are assuring that the children education and life can be developed through the support of individual people.  The programme can be survived by your support.

Tribe girl children’s Educational Home is running at Sirumalai Hills, Dindigul district, Tamil Nadu - India. The children with their parents are scattered in the hills without education, health and safe accommodation. Very often Tribe is shifting their residence in searching food and water. Women and girls are facing often sex abuses and human rights violence. 

                   

ROSI FOUNDATION has provided Safe accommodation with one counselor, one warden, Two teachers and two cooks / sweepers. In the last three months, we provided Educational materials as note books, notes, geometry box, sketch pencils, drawing pencil, chart, pen, pencil, etc for 21 girl children.

 

Now the children are in our educational home and free from sex abuses and human rights violence in risk/forest area. They are educated for personnel hygienic, sanitation, family life and importance of education.    

 

Spot light of a tribe family: Ms.Selvi (12) is belonging to tribe and Velampannai area. Their survivals are fully expecting forest (Minor Forest Produces). They are in remote and forest area without accessibility of road and electricity under threaten of wild animal. They were under risk of human rights issues and sex abuse. She was no entry in school.

 

In your support, ROSI FOUNDATION retrieved the family to safe place and the girlls were taken to our educational school. In some individual donor’s support, we are caring her in the centre with food, cloth, blanker, recreation and counseling. She are now studying 7th std. Their families are thanking you and other donors
