OUR VISION is of a world in which basic emergency needs for survivors of disasters are rapidly met. OUR MISSION is to deliver humanitarian relief in the form of equipment and materials that bring shelter, warmth and dignity to people made homeless by natural or other disasters worldwide. OUR GOAL is to help 50,000 families who lose everything in a disaster every year and with your help we will achieve this goal.

Shelter for an extended family

ShelterBox provides families with custom-made disaster relief tents that are designed to withstand extreme temperatures, high winds and heavy rainfall.

Families forced from homes in Myanmar

Thousands displaced by Pakistan earthquake

Prepositioned ShelterBoxes in the area allowed for a rapid response after a 7.8-magnitude earthquake left more than 2,500 households in southwestern Pakistan in need of shelter.

First to distribute shelter

ShelterBox was the first aid agency in the world to distribute tents to Syrian refugees in Lebanon with the permission of the Lebanese Government.

Warmth & protection for Syrian families

After being forced from their home in Syria, this family came to Lebanon where ShelterBox provided them with winterized shelter and other emergency supplies to begin rebuilding their lives.
