Hope for Teenage Mothers seeks to advance a knowledgeable community on the problems faced by the Teenage Mothers and the negative effects of underage pregnancies. We want to empower the teenage mothers socially and economically .We also seek to ensure that the girl child exercise her rights and is protected from teenage motherhood.

Mission

Programs

1. Alternative Learning. Helps the mothers move on with schooling or get jobs. 2. Vocational training and placement. One year of vocational training where they learn dress making, tailoring and knitting. 3. Counseling. Enables victims to come to terms with the incident and learn on how to manage the situation. 4. Hair dressing. 6 month course. The girls who graduate are assisted to set up their own small salons through microfinance or are placed in an existing salon.
