Action Africa Help Zambia

Action Africa Help International (AAH-I) started working in Zambia in 2001 on the invitation of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), due to AAH-I's success in Uganda. AAH-I thus took on the implementation of the refugee operations in areas of health, nutrition, water and saniation in the Refugee camps in both Luapula and Northern Provinces of Zambia. The major beneficiaries of these services were the Congolese refugees and Zambian nationals residing around the camps to whom the services were extended.
