Mission

Anudip's mission is to generate sustainable knowledge-economy livelihoods for underserved rural women and youth, through its market aligned skills training (MAST) program. Through MAST Anudip creates entrepreneur groups among students interested in starting IT-enabled business startups or unable to go for urban jobs for economical or traditional reasons.

Programs

1) Market-aligned information technology, spoken English and soft-skills training in rural centers in India through partnerships with community-based NGOs. At this time Anudip has trained over 8,000 youth. 2) Large scale job placement in IT-enabled services carried out through agreements with major employers. Our placement ratio to date is 75% trending toward 90%. 3) Financing and mentoring of Anudip graduates in setting up IT-enabled businesses in their communities thus improving their livelihoods and uplifting the economy of their communities. Forty entrepreneur groups have been setup so far by more than 100 Anudip entrepreneurs. 4) Deliver cost-effective IT outsourcing and digitization services to clients worldwide at its MERIT project centers located in district towns. The focus of our operations is on marginalized rural women and youth in India's eastern and north-eastern states. Services offered by businesses run by these entrepreneur groups include Desktop Publishing, Cyber Cafes offering online booking and payment services, printing and photography, mobile equipment sale and repair services. To name a few located in remote areas, Bapi Studios and Printers, Rupsha Telecom, Graphic Construction, G B Studio and Printers, Pravabati Computer, Riyaj Studios and Printers.
