helping haitian angels

Helping Haitian Angels' mission is to care for impoverished children "Angels" in Haiti by raising them to become happy, successful members of their communities who will have the tools to positively impact future generations. We work to achieve this by providing for the overall development of the children in our care. We ensure their basic needs are met - nourishment and a safe, comfortable home - as well as provide for the children's physical, spiritual, emotional and academic well-being. We consistently strive to strengthen our understanding of the Haitian people and develop mutual respect through effective communication.

Programs

In addition to education, it is imperative that our children learn trades, in order to make a life and a future for themselves outside of Kay Anj House. While we pray that all of our children have the opportunity to attend a Haitian University, we understand that trades are another successful tool to assist our children in supporting themselves. Currently, our children are attending school, working with an English tudor, and are involved in physical education training. In addition, we have many successful vocation programs underway, to include: Sewing, Masonry, Artwork, Plumbing, Agriculture, Mechanics, and Carpentry We believe this training will help to shape the lives of these young men & women.
