Saving more lives! 6 puppies dumped at river in a rabbit cage then at our gate!

Hello supporters!!

Thanks to you we were able to save 6 puppies that were found in a rabbit cage at the river and then dumped in front of our gate.  They are sweet, happy, and very playful!  They are also growing like weeds!  We have been able to give all 6 of them 3 sets of shots and deworming.  We have gotten one of the females spayed and she is now in a new loving home! Three of the puppies have developed demodex and we are using the remaining donations towards their treatments so they can be healthy and find loving homes too.  Treatment for demodex alone can be very costly and we couldn't have done this without the help of our generous monthly supporters so we thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Look at the precious sweet faces you are saving!  The litter produced 3 beautiful girls and 3 handsome boys.  They were all very lucky to have survived such an ordeal. These puppies will all make such great companions for a loving home.

Together, we are making a difference in the lives of these animals.  No animal is disposable yet people throw them away every day.  We wish we could save them all but we are thankful we are able to save as many as we can.  Thank you so much for your continued support!!

Many blessings and hugs,

Kim Miller and the dogs of Las Lomas K9 Rescue

Making a Difference!

Honey Bee
Honey Bee

Hello Supporters!!

We have been busy saving dogs and could not have done this without you!!  The latest two dogs we have been able to help are Honey Bee and Corner.  They were both feral throw away dogs and were living on the streets being terrorized by unneutered male dogs who are abandoned as well.  They were both in heat and one of them had her puppies within 24 hours after we trapped her so we got her just in time.  The other one had puppies under a house and it took hours to find them all and get them to safety.  During this adventure, we rescued 24 puppies!!  They are all doing well now and the two feral Momma dogs are coming around and turning in to sweet friendly companions.  The puppies are thriving as well!  We also have 6 other puppies that someone dumped in the road; they were left in a box and come dark they would have been run over had we not seen them.  All of these new dogs and puppies have been wormed and vaccinated and will be spayed and neutered at the appropriate time.  We have so many more thrown away dogs in the same area we want to help and with your support that can become a reality!  We have also been able to buy more needed dog food, and even puppy food for the new babies.

Thank you all so much for your continued support, we are a team and couldn't do this without you, but together we can make a difference!

We appreciate you all for your help and thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Sincerely,

Kim Miller, President

Snuggled in for the Winter!

Hello to all of our supporters!

Thanks to all of you, the dogs as Las Lomas K9 Rescue are resting much more comfortably during this Winter!  We were able to build a wind block, which works very well in keeping the cold wind out of the runs!  It is totally enclosed except for the gate since we need a place to enter and exit.  We are also able to buy enough hay to keep the concrete covered which gives them something warm for their feet and a nice bed for them to lay on when they don't want to be in their dog houses.  They LOVE the hay!  They get excited, run around, roll in it, play in it, and just have a blast!  Now that we have a real roof it is extra comfy because it keeps the rain out and keeps the hay nice and dry for them.

We have to replace the hay every couple of days and go through a lot of it so we are only able to do this because of the generosity of people like you.  We can't thank you enough for all you do to help us help the animals!

May God bless you and Happy New Year!

Sincerely,

Kim and all the dogs of Las Lomas K9 Rescue!
