Hello Las Lomas Supporters!
Thanks to you and your help, we were able to save Lizzy, a precious yellow lab mix female, from the Floresville K9 holding facility just moments before she was scheduled to be killed! She is heartworm positive, has ear mites, hook worms, and round worms. Treatment to save her life is fairly expensive and because of your generosity we were able to get her started so that she can live a happy and healthy life! Lizzy is a wonderful dog who absolutely loves the water, is great with other dogs, and very sweet to people. It is very difficult to clean her run because as soon as she sees the water, she gets ready and starts attacking it! She will run, jump, twist and turn, sometimes it looks like she can even jump rope! All to play in the water hose! I get a kick out of watching her! It's great seeing her so happy and knowing we were able to save her life...all because of wonderful people like you.

Lizzy will be spayed as soon as her heartworms are treated and she will be available for adoption in a few months.

Hello to all of our supporters! Our resident dogs here send a big thank you to all of you for your support! Because of you, we were able to buy 2 pallets of quality dog food and some hay to pad down the concrete during the past Winter months! Your donations have really been making a big difference to the dogs here at the shelter and we greatly appreciate your help! We were also able to get 5 of the dogs neutered and ready for adoption!
I hope you all have a wonderful 2013 and we look forward to great things to come this year thanks to all of you!!
