Little Max has a second chance!

Hello supporters!

I'm happy to share a story with you about Little Max and how you all helped him get a second chance on life!  He lived in the country and belonged to a man who sadly passed away.  A neighbor spotted him and went to check on him.  Little Max was so sick and nobody even realized it.  When he was diagnosed with parvo, things looked grim.  Fortunately, the veterinarian explained this didn't have to mean the end, this could be treatable.  It was!  Little Max had his treatments and pulled through at 100%.  Just recently, he was healthy enough to be neutered, get all of his shots, and even tested negative for heartworms.  Today, he is a happy dog looking for his forever home!  He gets along well with others and is adjusting to living inside the house.

Little Max sends hugs, love, and many thanks!!

Each and every person can make the difference in the life of an animal, thank you so much for your continued support!

Sincerely,

Kim Miller and all the dogs at Las Lomas K9 Rescue

3 small dogs saved from foreclosure!

Luvvy
Luvvy

Hello supporters!

We are happy to report that with your support, we were able to save 3 small dogs whose owner is facing foreclosure.  These dogs would have had no place to go and would have all been put to sleep.

We were able to provide them with their vaccinations and a month supply of dog food.  They are now in a foster home and thriving!

Because of you, they all have a new hope for a second chance at life and are all available for adoption.

Luvvy is a sweet little doxie who loves everyone.  She is a bit of an escape artist but is friendly and adjusting very well. Faith is also a sweet little doxie with lots of love to give.  Charlie is a cute little doxie mix who loves to play fetch with his ball.

All 3 of them want to thank you for your kindness and generosity!

Thank you all for your continued support helping the animals in need!

Sincerely,

Kim

Baron - A cancer survivor thanks to all of you! BeBe & Little Man with a renewed life ahead!

Hello Las Lomas supporters!

We are so happy to report, that with your generous donations, Baron had surgery to remove multiple mass cell tumors and it was a success!  Baron is a Doberman who I witnessed being thrown from a car.  We chased the guys down as Baron was running behind them.  They denied it but it was obvious.  Poor Baron was sitting at the window wanting to shake hands with the guy.  They made a lot of excuses and I brought him home.  He is an awesome dog and so loving and kind.  He developed cancer and we didn't know what the outcome would be.  Thanks to all of you, and an awesome vet, Baron had surgery.  Dr. Bowman felt confident he caught it in time and was able to remove all or most of it.  Baron went back for a follow up and there is no sign of the cancer!  We are so happy to have been able to save this sweet dogs' life!  He needs to follow up with the vet every 6 months but his future is looking brighter because of all of you!

We were also able to help BeBe & Little Man.  They are a pair of doxies who were left behind when their Father passed away.  They both had a bad case of ehrlichia and BeBe had anaplasmosis as well.  Both of these are serious tick borne diseases.  Their blood counts were through the roof and both had to be on medication.  Little Man is out of the woods and BeBe is getting there, slowly but surely!  These little senior dogs have never been outside, their owner worried snakes would get them, but are thriving with us!

On top of all this, we were able to keep all the dogs well fed and buy enough hay to get them through the Winter!  Plus we hav some exciting new things to share with you soon!  You have all been so generous!  Donations the past few months have exceeded our expectations and we are so blessed and excited about the wonderful things we are doing together for the betterment of the animals!  We have the most awesome supporters and you have all made such a huge difference in the lives of so many dogs.  We thank you from the bottom of our hearts!  There aren't enough words to say how much we appreciate you!!

Many thanks, love and hugs,

Kim and all the dogs of Las Lomas
