Poor toilet facilities or absence of toilets in schools have an impact on the education and health of the children. Children defecatiing in open are prone to infectious diseases such as diarrhea, intestinal worms thus leading to absenteeism which affects their studies. Further, adolescent girls stop attending schools due to absence of toilets. Project involves renovating the poor toilet infratrucrure which lacks doors & other basic ameninties so that the children starts making use of the toilets

Project involves renovating the floor, water closets, sewage pipes, painting of walls, handwashing facilities, piped water , doors, sanitary napkin incinerators (facility highly appreciated by girls and teachers). |

|
The project is a life long investment in the school. Annually it will serve 3753 children in the 3 schools. Morever children will inculcate the habit of using toilets and which will have a positive influence in their family and communities |

|
Sanitation is the number one preventive medicine.
