Project duration: Ongoing
Project's focus area: Help Rwandan Child Survivors of Genocide
As part of the Higo Ubeho program, CHF is providing assistance to 47,000 orphans and vulnerable children throughout Rwanda. However, the needs of each child far outweigh the services we can provide. Additional support will help ensure that more than one orphaned child per household can receive our assistance.

We provide nutritional support & playtime for children; school materials, uniforms & playtime for primary schoolchildren; school fees, psychosocial support & materials to secondary schoolchildren; & vocational training for child-headed households |

Far from a mere hand-out, supporting Rwanda’s orphans and vulnerable children with proper nutrition, materials, school fees and training will provide the country’s future leaders with opportunities to succeed and thrive in life. |
