Project Needs and Beneficiaries

Women and children affected by the Java Earthquake have a great need for training and education to support their families.”the requirements for this project include sewing machines, English language teachers, lesson books, medicine and medical check-ups, and additional nutrition. The program will be implemented over the course of 6 months and will benefit 100 mothers and children.

Activities
1) Medical check-ups for mothers and children 2) giving additional nutrition 3) learning to sew 4) training to make cakes 5) training for bookkeepers and marketing products for mothers, 6) Free English language dan computer course for children.
Expected Outcomes
More than 100 mothers and children will partake in an educational skills program so that the participants can make or develop their efforts for a livelihood.

Andi Asriadi Rauf is a former consultant of the Community Empowering Body in Jakarta Local Government. He has studied in Japan and Cairo for empowering community programs. Andi has 3 years experiences in education, research, and development with local communities in Jakarta, Aceh, and Sulawesi.

Mr. Usman - Puspem Director

Usman is former member of the PSPK coordinator program. Usman has more than 100 years of experience in community development programs in Indonesia.

Mr. Syuhab - Field Coordinator

Mr. Syuhab was one of the teachers in Yogyakarta. At this time he also joined the Puspem team for the Yogyakarta territory.
