As a result of poverty in Majengo slums, the youth indulge in behaviours that put them at a high risk of contracting HIV.More than 2500 youths have died in majengo since 1980 as a result of illness associated with HIV.Most of the youth especially girls have died as a result of getting infected through prostitution.Through the HIV awareness program , we are reaching more than 500 youth in schools and community centers in Majengo slums and its outskirts in Nairobi

Activities
Peer education in schools and community centres using a HIV soccer manual.Organising HIV awareness soccer tournaments. Also we use drama plays, educational videos to reach majority of youth who dont go to schools.
