Atlas Corps is building the capacity of the global nonprofit sector through its premiere nonprofit management development fellowship program for international NGO leaders. Currently we are working to double the number of Atlas Corps Fellows in the U.S. and expand to new cities, such as New York and Seattle, as well as increase the numbers of American fellows abroad. Both the U.S. & developing nation NGOs will benefit from the exchange of best practices and increased global understanding.

Atlas Corps identifies rising nonprofit leaders addressing the UN Millennium Goals to volunteer in the US for 1 year. Ultimately, this creates a global citizen sector where ideas & solutions transcend borders. |
In just three years Atlas Corps has more than tripled in size and has expanded to include Fellows from nearly every region. We create a multinational exchange of ideas and practices in the global nonprofit sector. |

It’s not the same as in Colombia, but once you’re here and understand how the nonprofit sector in the US works, the things you see, learn, and get to know here are completely applicable in Colombia.
