GlobalGiving Associate - Grantmaking and Due Diligence

As Partner Services Associate you will be the first point of contact for new organizations joining the GlobalGiving community. Whether they are interested in jumping into a GG Challenge or referred to us by one of our amazing corporate partners, these organizations will rely on your superb communication skills and knowledge to guide them through our due diligence process and to help them access new tools.

You'll lead webinars, speak to organizations 1:1 over the phone and bridge seemingly impossible time zones, technical difficulties and language barriers. You'll have a keen eye for detail and will evaluate their global credentials such as government certificates and audited financial statements. You'll have knowledge of country-specific requirements for charitable organizations, provide analysis on the operations and impact of the organization and keep your antennae up for the rare problem organization. For some organizations you'll administer grant agreements, ensure activities are conducted according to budget and schedule, and review reports and receipts throughout the grant period.

We are a fast-paced office and thrive on peer learning. Each day you'll juggle multiple pieces of work while channeling your inner Virasana (Hero Pose). You'll work with colleagues on day-to-day tasks like funds disbursement, technical troubleshooting and data gathering but you'll also contribute to the overall enhancement of a growing organization (big stuff like our impact in the world).
