This project will provide integrated (holistic) primary health-care education and training to 1,200 selected community based traditional,modern health practitioners in Butere -Mumias District in Kenya
There are more than 800,000 residents living in Butere-Mumias District of western Kenya. with improved health care approaches and practices, methods and tools, the villagers and community members will apply the health problems by themselves. This will lead in a reduction in the spread of communicable diseases
The project will strengthen Kenya's health sector research and training and ensure utilization of exxisting resources for health, disease surveillance, reporting, response and control.
we will educate 1200 community health workers both traditional and modern. this will help to bring the community together for a common cause.This is compounded by the need for producing a basic cadre of community health education specialists.
